The ASICS Gel DS Trainer 26 Noosa for women is a shoe for overpronators which is ideal for Asics Mens shorter runs. The improved upper is more flexible and softer and follows your movements. The improved sockliner ensures extra support and the outsole of the shoes ensures a powerful way to speed up. The midsole features DUOMAX technology which supports the feet and keeps them from collapsing to the medial side during transition.

As the name suggests, this is the 22nd iteration of the Comfortable Shoes, and the evolution this time around is largely about the Flytefoam. It lightens up the shoe a good bit, eight ounces in a men’s 9, but it is also about shock absorption and propulsion. It’s high-density foam that doesn’t break down, protects the foot as it strikes the ground, and then pushes you forward right before the lift. Under the heel you’ll find the Gel of the shoe’s name. It’s there to soften up the rear, and protect you if and when you strike your heel hard.

The iconiconsale foam and gel are the comfort and propulsion part of the equation, but as this is a stability shoe for neutral to over pronators, there is also support. The DuoMax midfoot cushion is double-density foam for arch support. And the trend of soft in back to medium in the middle continues with a front that’s relatively firm. This is thanks to the 10mm thickness, which is the shallow end of the 10mm drop from heel to toe.

The Asics Gel Ds Trainer 25 Electric Blue/Pure Silver outsole is comprised of strategically placed AHAR carbon-black rubber for grip and durability, as well as a guidance line to help control the flex of the forefoot and the Trussic System which holds the front and rear of the sole together with minimal structure and weight.
