The OTEKO Group has put into operation the largest and most powerful coal shipping system in Russia at its terminal in the port of Taman at the junction of the Black and Azov Seas.

The system consists of a 10.6 m bucket wheel reclaimer, a covered belt conveyor and a ship loading machine. With a loading speed of 8,000 tons per hour, this reduces the loading time of the Capesize bulk carrier from the current 48 hours to 25 hours.

In the near future, oteko russia plans to put another similar powerful loading system into operation. After commissioning in 2022, the terminal's capacity will be 72 million tons per year.
