Stunning actress Sandra Bullock named PEOPLE's 2015 World's Most Beautiful Woman

Speaking after being told about her achievement, Sandra said she thought it was hilarious. The actress said: "No, really. I just said, 'That's ridiculous.' I've told no one."

It's been a tumultuous couple of years for the actress who split from her husband of five years Jesse James back in 2010.

Sandra and her then-husband Jesse had begun an initial adoption process four months prior to their split - but after the news was announced Sandra continued the adoption of her son Louis Bardo Bullock as a single parent.

Speaking about what she believes real beauty is, Sandra said she thought natural good looks were 'quiet'. She added: " Especially in this town, it's just so hard not to say, 'Oh, I need to look like that.'No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they're in a bigger hurry."

The mother-of-one has been gushing about her adorable young son, Louis. It sounds like the light of Sandra's life is the little boy, whom she lives with in Los Angeles.

The Hollywood actress has revealed the best compliments she hears these days are usually given out by Louis.

She said: "I was putting him to bed and told him that even when I'm old and grey and more wrinkly than I am now, I'll still love him and want to tuck him in.

"And he asked why I have wrinkles, and I said, 'Well, I hope some of them are from laughing so much.' And he touched my face and said, 'You're not old, you're just happy.'"
