If you’re a huge fan of this police comedy from NBC, you’ve likely already seen the episode featuring a silent disco. In season 2, episode 5, “The Mole,” Sergeant Terry Jeffords, played by Terry Crews, and Detective Rosa Diaz, played by Stephanie Beatriz, go undercover at a silent disco. Sergeant Jeffords is confused by the entire concept of the silent party as he was a frequent disco attendee back in his younger days, and they were never silent. In season 1, episode 8, titled “The Silencing Properties of Snow,” the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) at Sam’s school chooses to hold a silent disco prom so that Sam can feel more comfortable attending. In season 1, episode 7, Dave’s friend Emma’s car gets broken into after spending the night with another friend, Elz.
